What was the highlight of Sercotel Boulevard Vitoria-Gasteiz
A bit disappointing
It's a 4 star hotel with inherent characteristics which you pay for. The hotel is comfortable and the rooms are rather spacious.
We booked a room for us and our dog. We advised this before the check in, however, the room was not prepared to receive our dog, although we had paid 20€ (!) for this. Unlikely other Sercotel hotels, there was no dog bed nor treats - you kind of expect this when you pay 20€ per night to have the dog with you. We asked for it but the receptionist was very evasive, saying that if we have warned them in advance, the room would have been prepared. When I went up to the room, I checked the reservation and actually I had indicated previously the dog would go with us. Called the reception, and they finally made the proper arrangements. The room was spacious and clean, however, it was not as expect in a 4 stars: there was a piece of the floor missing and the shower was cracked. I believe this is not acceptable.

Very Good
Easy to access, and convenient EV charging included in the cost of parking.
The cot for our daughter was made in an unsafe manner with loose sheets and an unbelievably squeaky plastic mattress that woke all of us every time she moved. Also, the dishes at the breakfast buffet were filthy - “clean” plates had food waste in the stack, and food residue on all of the plates and glasses.

Excellent hidden gem
Reception staff were very helpful and courteous. Room was large and spotless and breakfast was excellent with a wide choice to choose from. For the price this hotel was great value and I would reccomend.
Hotel was difficult to find as I'd never been to Vitoria before but to be fair it was at night and I was driving in a new city

You can park outside of the hotel You can reach the city centre on foot Comfortable rooms
The hair dryer plug had come out of its place and it was dangerous. There was a lot of damages in various parts of the room.
